David Marshall began his career as an apprentice to Vidal Sassoon in the late 60’s in Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, London, W1. Under the watchful eye of Sassoon, he learned his trade to the highest and most exacting standards. David’s talent, work ethic and precision were recognised at an early stage when he won an internal salon competition beating all other apprentices after being in the business for only 6 months. At age 21, David was appointed as Vidal Sassoon’s youngest ever manager at his Sloane Street salon in Knightsbridge, London.


David came back to Dublin in 1974 and opened his own salon at Fade Street. The salon became famous for the David Marshall trade mark ‘precision hair cut’ and remains a firm favourite among celebrities and a wide range of professional clients today.


Clients travel from all over Ireland and abroad to experience the quality and benefits of a precision hair cut by David or one of his highly trained team. The salon is still regarded as one of Dublin's finest hair venues and standards of precision hair cutting coupled with great colour remain extremely high.

Ths salon also leads the way in colour excellence. As exclusive stockists of the world leading Redken Color Range, every colourist at David Marshall is a true colour expert and every colour application is precisley tailored to suit your specific needs and lifestyle.
